Chilliwack Women’s Clubs’ Centennial Pageant
“The story of the pageant is to depict the part women have played in the progress of British Columbia over the last 100 years. We also show the hurdles they had to overcome to be recognized on equal terms with men.” — director Mary Matthews Glyn-Jones
The Chilliwack Little Theatre group reportedly gave up its fall plans to take over the staging of the show, which involved 320-400 people at the Chilliwack Coliseum.
