About The PlayCastProduction TeamPerformance PhotosProgram

The Tin Woman is presented by special arrangements with Playscripts Inc. (www.playscripts.com)

The Tin Woman is a two-act comedy/drama play set in present day.
“Instead of relishing life after her heart transplant, Joy enters a downward spiral, unsure whether she truly deserves a second chance. Meanwhile, Alice and Hank mourn the loss of their son, Jack, whose heart was used to save Joy. At a friend’s urging, Joy tracks down Jack’s family to find closure. But are Alice, Hank, and their daughter Sammy ready to accept Jack’s death? Inspired by a true story, The Tin Woman uses humour and pathos to explore loss, family, and what it means to be given new life.”

The Tin Woman will be performed at the Pacific PARC Theatre, White Rock, May 21, 2026, as the Players Guild’s entry in the Theatre BC Fraser Valley Zone Theatre Festival.
