British Nights began in 1975 as an idea from our life member Jane Logie who, like so many Guild members at the time, grew up in the UK and loved the old songs and the feeling of a neighbouhood pub. The first British Night was set up as an informal party evening and then became an annual event celebrating everything British – music, comedy, food and music. The original public production was Cockney Capers and featured songs and skits celebrating all things Cockney. The final British Nights on this list is  “Pirate Radio” — a celebration of “British Invasion” music and modern British humour.
