It’s time to get together to wrap up the fabulous 2024-25 season and get a sneak peek into what’s in store for the coming year.
Renew your membership or join on the spot! We’ll be electing the CPG executive as well, and anyone who’s paid up may vote.We’ll also be putting forward a change to one of our Bylaws regarding meeting scheduling. To abide by the laws of the Societies Act, advance notice is required. (Click here to see our existing Constitution and Bylaws.)
Notice of Motion
The following motion to change our Bylaws will be made at the AGM:
Moved to change Section 14, Sub a) to read:
The Annual General Meeting of the Chilliwack Players Guild shall be held in October of each year at a time and place fixed by the Board of Directors. At least fourteen (14) days electronic notice shall be provided to each paid member and through Guild social media accounts.
Further, Moved to change Section 14, Sub b) to read:
The Board of Directors shall meet monthly, September to June at a time a place as set by the President. The Executive will schedule meetings of the General Membership as required. Notice provisions in Sub a) apply.
